Francis Barber

(1895 - ????)

Francis barber was born to parents John and Alice Barber. He was baptised at ???? parish church on 15th March 1895. The baptism record identifies that the family were living at Halswell Lane, Bridgwater and that John Barber was working as a labourer. The birth was registered during June qtr 1895 (ref 5c 345).

Francis was the fourth born in what became a large family, he had the following brothers and sisters.

It is believed that Leonard and Leslie died as babies.

Francis' sister Glad recalled that Francis suffered from fits and was unable to work. This was later contradicted by Meg who believed that Francis worked at Barhams Brickyard, Bridgwater.
